The main details for the Suffolk County Championship are as follows:

Entry Fee: £12 (cheques payable to Stowmarket Fencing Club)

Format: 1 round of Poules, followed by an incomplete DE. (If numbers and time permit there may be a second round of Poules)

Lame bibs: Lame bibs are not required for this competition.
Breeches: Breeches are required for all competitors in the senior competition

The competition shall be run in accordance with the standard set of rules as laid out by the FIE. The minimum age for senior entrants is 13 on 1st January 2010 (DOB 1-Jan-1997 or before) and for Junior entrants is 10 on 1st January 2010 (DOB 2-Jan1997 to 1-Jan-2000). Competitors in the senior comptition must use Size 5 blades (or smaller) and competitors in the junior competition must use Size 3 blades (or smaller).

The organisers reserve the right to amend the format of the competition as they see fit depending on circumstances.

All entrants will need to hold current BFA/FIE membership and will have to show proof of the membership on the day. If you have BFA Social Membership, then your membership card and a voucher entitling you to entry into one local competition should have been sent to your club secretary when the membership was purchased. We will be accepting these vouchers as proof of insurance and they must be submitted to the staff at check-in on the day in the same way that a normal Membership Card would be.
